Can a Honda CRV's 4-wheel drive system be installed in a Honda EK-9 Type R ?

you can do it, as with all projects,with some planning and thought-may need mods to both halves-f*** iT ! try and see what happens-then let us all know!

Actually it is very possible...to contradict the person above me. There was an article in....i want to say import tuner mag but im not sure so dont hold me to it....anyways there was an article where they took a mid-nineties integra and managed to fabricate it into a 4-wheel drive b-series powered integra using the CRV's 4-wheel drive system. Im not sure if this could be adapted onto the civic platform but either way it would take a **** load of fabrication to do a project like that. If I were you and I was serious about doing this I would try to do as much research as possible first...just remember your going to be adding the extra weight of the 4-wheel drive system to the civic and the cost for it is going to be ridiculous. stick to the front wheel, my friend, as Zack said, a lot of stuff had to be done in order for your 4 wheels to spin together... and even if u did, it won't kick *** at all...

you would think it would kick *** as you would say but then you have that extra wight and I'm guessing its all wheel drive system and that doesn't mean all wheels are driving at the same time when the car is moving it only engages when your trying to spin the tires
