Where is the power wire on a 94 Suburban?

94 civic ex msd sci-l ignition question???

  • i have a 94 ex with a msd sci-l ignition setup and i am getting no power to my blaster ss coil but when i was checking out the intsructions online it says something about modifying the msd ignition for a 4 cylinder engine by cuting both the red and blue wire loop on the side of the msd? do i cut them or not? and where? is that why i am not getting power to the coil? also it says to connect the red wire(not the heavy red) to a switched 12 volt source. such as the ignition key or switch and i cannot locate any red wire besides the one that goes to the battery. so my msd is just connected from to the pos and neg of battery and the orange and black wire to the blaster ss coil and a black and red hooked up to module inside the distrubutor. so is that way i am getting no power to coil????
