Is a suspension lift or a body lift better for a Silverado?

Body lift on chevorlet 2001?

• I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS extended cab and i am wanting to raise it up some. I look at suspension lifts and they are very expensive, around $1,500 ( if you can tell me another place to look for a better price let me know) but i looked at body lifts and they are much cheaper. I was looking at a 3" body lift for my truck. Would the 3" body lift look dumb? And also always the trucks are a little low in the front compared to the back. Say i jsut did the body lift, would that even out the whole truck? same thing with the suspension? i want to get it evened out so it doesnt look really dumb.

  Sorry, but body lifts look stupid, and are pretty pointless. If you body lift it, it will still sit as it does now. (not level).
