Dodge Neon(1996)..will not start?
-
Dodge Neon(1996)..2.0...SOHC...will not start, engine turns but it just grinds and will not start..What are some reasons for this? Is the engine shot or blowed? If so how can you tell? There is no oil leaks or gas leaks. The car has set still since sometime in December because of all this heavy snow we had this winter. I just need some ideas as what to look for reasons in getting it started again. Ay ideas or suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Answer:
have you tried boosting it?? i know the engine will kinda grind but not completley turn and start without a good charge in the battery. and cold weather does not like batteries. a friend of mine left her mustang sitting for 5 months ended up killing the battery in the winter. try a boost if that don't work then it could be the sparkplugs too.. i suggest you tow it to a dealership or mechanic to check it though.
