What is a good way to break in a snowboard?

Need to put break ALL the way down on Dodge Neon and oil is leaking?

  • \ I haven't had any grinding noises, car has been running fine. I was coming home from work today when I noticed that as i tried to slow down, my car was not. I had to put my foot nearly all the way down on the break for it to slow down/stop. To make sure I wasn't imaging this, i drove around the block. Same thing. I was literally pump breaking and driving slow. Now im scared to drive my car. My car has not been grinding or anything. This is the first time this has happened. I had the front breaks replaced about a year ago. Any suggestions? A few hours ago, we checked my break fluid and put nearly half the bottle in (because i needed it) then we noticed oil leaking from out of the rear drivers side tire. Any ideas why its leaking? we put the oil in, pumped break a few times as i drove around my parking lot and still , i had to put the break all the way down. And when i parked we noticed the oil leaking. I have a 2000 dodge neon. Thanks! How much in cost and labor may i be looking at?

  • Answer:

you blew a wheel cylinder inside the wheel on that car, remove the tire and brake drum and check it,the brake shoes should be good and wet with brake fluid also, you,ll need to go through the rear brakes real good and replace all the needed parts and also bleed the system out real good, around 250.00 in parts and labor to properly do the rear brake on it,you need to be really careful if you drive that car ,the brakes could fail at any time on it,good luck.

next time you drive around the block , practice using your Emergency brake to stop with . that way you can use to drive to the repair shop. It is impossible to tell you how much it will cost . Because all those brake shops will lie to you and try and rip you off.

They're BRAKES, not 'breaks' first of all. The reason the pedal went down to the floor is because of the brake fluid leak (the system is not under the pressure it is designed to be). I agree with Dodge Man and it sounds like the the left rear brake drum cylinder is leaking and needs to be replaced. Do not continue to drive this vehicle until the leak has been repaired.

Most likly you blew out a brake line they rust over time and get weak and the huge pressure finally pokes a pin size hole in the line not a huge deal find a good mech to fix it. material like $20 bucks mech depends who you know
