What year is compatible to 1999 neon?

Dodge Neon SRT-4 Insurance Help?

  • How much would insurance cost a month for a 16 year old to have a 2003 dodge neon srt-4? Would it cost more or less than a 1999-2004 v6 mustang or 1998-2002 v6 camaro?

  • Answer:

It all depends. So many things can factor into how an insurance company determines your rates, regardless of the type of car. Being of a young age with little experience (if any) behind the wheel will naturally cause it to be higher (dont worry, it goes back down when you are 25). Having a performance car will also raise the rates. Such things as a good GPA, taking driver courses through school and using the same insurance company as your parents (multiple car discount) will lower the rates. As far as deciding which of the above listed cars would be the least expensive, so many other factors play more of a weight, especially since all of the cars you listed fall into muscle/performance cars. Best thing to do is go to the insurance websites and asking. Unless someone owns all three of those cars, i doubt they would be able to give you an accurate determination of which one would be less.

Here's a better question, does a 16 year old need any of those vehicles? No. But if you must, it's going to be quite high. You're a high risk factor, have very little record, if any; and they're performance vehicles. It's a bad idea all around.
