If the turtles in the world all became extinct?

If the turtles in the world all became extinct......?

  • how would that affect us and the economy?????

  • Answer:

Turtles used to be a very diverse lineage but only a small branch made it through to present. A turtles shell is amazing, the backbone is fuse to the shell. unlike other vertebrates turtles ribs lie outside the shoulder and pelvic bones! Their jaw has evolved greatly over time. It works on sort of a pulley mechanism. The way they can retract their necks is amazing! Apart from the fact they are amazing creatures... I really do not know their economic value!!

Other answers

If the turtles grew extinct, the sea gulls and other sea birds won't have anything to eat ( cause turtles are on thing they eat), extinction of a particualr specie could break the food chain and BIODIVERSITY
