Places to visit in Shanghai?

I'll be travelling to Shanghai in a year's time. Can anyone please tell me some really good places in Shanghai that I absolutely have to visit while I'm over there? Thank you!

Damn, it's a big Qs to me. I have not been in China/ Shanghai yet. I wish I can go there next trip. I only been in Singapore, Taiwan, HongKong, Cambuchia, Viet Nam and Thailand many times, I might know well... Good Luck! QL PS: I heard my friend went there last summer, it is a larger area, You must do some research and where and what would you like to explore from there... but that area still have a lot of things you need to be caution and be careful..
