Do you need theme park tickets for downtown disney?

Can I buy Disney World theme park tickets at my Disney Resort?

  • We are planning a trip in mid October. I have heard that it rains a lot in October so I didn't want to purchase the tickets in advance in case we would not be able to use one or more. We will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort and I was wondering if I can buy Magic Kingdom, Epcot, ect..... tickets there. I dont really want to wait in line at the park to get tickets. Thank you for your help! :)

    You can, but keep in mind that you will save a lot of money by purchasing a multi-day ticket, not one ticket per day. If it rains, it is usually very brief and you can just find an indoor ride/show to do. Then it will be over. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the resorts, parks, ticket and transportation center and even the Orlando airport. Definitely purchase a multi-day ticket when you arrive not individual tickets **adult prices** 1 day tickets are $79.00+tax 4 day tickets are $225.00+tax ($56.25 per day)

It may rain every day. It doesn't rain for long. they can have a 15minute down pour and then nothing the rest of the day.There is plenty on inside stuff to do at all four parks. I do not think you can buy them at the resort, but just call them up and ask.
