When can you buy Harry Potter Theme Park tickets?

Should I buy my Harry Potter theme park tickets ahead of time?

  • My mom bought our tickets for Disney already (when we go in October) but she's planning on buying our Universal tickets at the door. Is that a smart move or do you think it will be sold out...? and how long would we have to wait for them if we do buy them at the door? thanks for your help!(:

    There is no way it will be sold out at that time of year. Absolutely not. Technically they never sell out, they just might reach capacity crowds and restrict entry for a few hours, but that happens rarely. Like July 4 and Christmas day. However, I would buy them ahead of time because go on Universal's website and look at the prices - they actually knock a few bucks off if you purchase online.

You will have no problems buying your tickets at the gate. You can be 100% sure, it won't be sold out. The wait to buy them should be less then five minutes. Probably closer to one minute. The parks, Disney and Universal go into a slow season just after Labor Day. Before you buy your tickets make sure you check the different Disney and Universal websites for any special information and see the advantages of buying tickets for multiple days etc.

I think you should order them before because 1. You have to wait in line for the tickets 2. It's actually cheaper to book online, you save some money XD <3

No, it's a waste of time. Every theme park in Orlando has at least 50 ticket booths (most of the time you don't even have to wait).
