Why are there so many Chinese tourists around Las Vegas?

  • Im visiting Las Vegas for the first time. When I visited the grand canyon I saw hundreds or thousands of tourists and literally there was 4 Chinese speaking tourists for every one American. Its not that I mind. I was just very surprised. Why somany Chinese in this area?

    The Chinese culture is very positive on gambling. This last weekend was a celebration of their New Year. Plus Vegas is full of every culture. When I went recently to GCanyon I head more French. The US can use the economy fostered by visitors from other countries so take a positive look at those people who do not speak English as their main language.

Las Vegas is a BIG destination to celebrate the Chinese New Year which is going on this week. Almost all the hotels will have celebrations.

A Hunch

Vegas and the West cost in general is a hot spot for Asian tourists. They like to come see large cities in America like LA, San Fran, Las Vegas, ect. Think of it this way, if you would to to Japan would you go to the middle of nowhere or would you go see the hotspots?
