There is a good chance that she'll get caught - they are very good at spotting fakes and at finding people using others' ID. Using another person's ID is worse than a fake, and they usually call the police. She'd very likely get sent to jail for it if caught. They take all of that very seriously in Vegas.

Worst case, the ID would be confiscated, she would get a citation for fraud and have to appear in court and probably pay a fine, in addition to the person who the ID belongs to, unless the ID was reported stolen. If the ID was reported stolen your friend will also be held responsible for theft.

This would be a TRAGIC mistake. NEVER, NEVER use the I.D. of another person, especially in LAS Vegas, where they are EXPERTS at spotting fake I.D.s. Using the I.D of another person is a FELONY. When (not "if") she is caught she will be arrested, and could possibly upon conviction do hard time in a Nevada prison, and have a FELONY on her record for the rest of her life. This would be an unbelievably STUPID thing to do. She would be better off using a fake I.D of her own. With one of those she would probably just have the I.D. confiscated, and be denied entry to the establishment.
