technically it is ID theft, the police can be contacted and you have the possibility of forfeiting any winnings. They will take the ID, remember vegas has some of the best ID guys. I would bring your paper ID, a copy of a birth certificate, and try to find any picture ID's from college or work. The more you bring the better, it happens and the clubs understand. If only you had a passport. You can also call ahead and speak to someone in security. If you are flying you need to do the same with the airline.

Nevada started doing the same thing as the other states. It also takes several weeks to get your new ID. States are running into these problems with travelers. They should allow you to renew a couple months in advance just because of that. Never use another persons I.D. The worse that can happen to you is that a police officer charges you with Criminal Simulation, or places you under investigative hold until your plane leaves McCarren Airport. Your state is one of the few not doing the digital id-verify, most states are now going with a temporary paper license in which they mail the stuff to a central processing center that prints your id and mails it to you. There have been too many thefts of the laminate backing used when they print them on site, so another thing us normal law obi-ding people get screwed over by. Anyways, I wouldnt risk using her ID. I know I look under 21 so it didnt help my cause any (I am 25), and they checked every detail and even typed in the numbers to the computer and then I got a band to wear so I wasnt carded all the time. This could be different by casino you know, some may be easier on you. I would just use the paper one, and they can type it in and see your info.

In all honesty you might not get into the clubs with the papers; you definitely will not get into the VIP clubs even if you are hot. Worst things that can happen: If I were you, use the temp. paper w/. any other ID w/ your photo. Don't use your sister ID, unless you are twins. Because if they find out, both of you can be in trouble and both of you might get charge. In California, the clubs or the liquid store will take the ID away and then sent you something in the mail for court hearding.. The court will not care if you lost your ID, they only care that you broke the law. Pros: You can still risk it.. Maybe the bouncer don't care if you do look like her.. IN this age of digital identification, I cannot believe the cannot produce your ID in one day's time. When I moved from my apartment to a house, DMV reissed my id on my visit. No more than 10 minutes. I would contact the local State Senator and have then rush this through for you. Someone is pulling your leg.
