Where are some nice camping grounds in Houston?

Primative camping houston?

I'm looking for some primative camping near houston, texas. I have a baby and I would like to take her camping, so I want something within 2 hours or so from Houston. I would love to find a place that might have some Halloween festivities this weekend. I am also looking for wooded sites...you know, private rather than RV sites. Maybe I am just too picky?

I found a great place. It is lake Bryan not to far from Houston. It has a big lake and a bunch of space. It isn't primitive but no one is ever there so it is like primitive. It is in between Bryan and Collage Station. Good Luck I love this place Kenny
