What's the best way to move across the country?

Whats a cheap way to move from Cleveland, Ohio to Tacoma, Washington?

  • I need to find a cheap way to move across country in Feb of 2009. I'm 18 without a license.. I have about 9 boxes, 2 shelves a bed a computer and a fish tank that I want to move.. I plan on flying to Tacoma and find a cheap way to move all my things.. does anyone know a cheap moving company that doesn't involve you driving yourself?

    I think you need a regular moving company because of the bed and aquarium. Just find your Yellow Pages and let your fingers due the walking and get estimates from the national moving companies (Allied, Mayflower, United, Beacon, etc.).

Mail it... Get a freight pallet and mail it for a few hundred. Cheaper than paying thousands for a truck with those boxes.
