What should I pack for a trip to Montana?

Australian trip - can I pack the following items in my suitcase?

  • Hi I'm going to Australia for 3 weeks and the stop-off is in Hong Kong. I want to pack body creams and lotions in my suitcase, and I will also have to pack my contraceptive pills. Other things I want to pack in my suitcase are a small bottle of multivitamins, plus 3 small bottles of other types of vitamins and anti-oxidants that I have been taking and want to continue taking. I would also like to pack some sweets in my suitcase as it will be Christmas when I'm in Oz, and I'd like to fill my boyfriend's stocking with a few goodies on Christmas Eve! Would anyone happen to know if it would be ok to pack everything I have mentioned, or will the guys at the airport in Hong Kong and Melbourne question what I have packed and confiscate my creams and pills and food? If anyone can kindly advise I would be very grateful. Thanks :)

    You should be fine for everything on your list to go in your checked luggage. I would recommend taking your contraceptive pills in your carry on just in case you luggage goes missing, as it would be difficult to replace these in Oz.

Creams, shampoos and other things like that are allowed to be brought in your luggage, not carry on! I suggest you throw a small bottle of the pills you need (under 3 oz) into your carry on in case you do have to throw out the items in your suit case. Costums doesn't check your luggage, they'll just ask you if you have of these items in your carry on. Just say no and you'll be fine.

everything is ok except the pills if they are prescript then you need to bring that with you. If they are non urgent (which they are not) then dont bring them, just buy them while ur in oz. Just pack everything in your suitcase not in ur hand luggage. Most of that stuff u have to declare anyway, so they will search your bags regardless. And if they find anything you havent declared, then you'll get a fat fine and they might send u back to ur own country.
