What are some cook jobs (contract jobs ) in the arctic of canada, oil drilling?

  • there was a cook working with me a year back , that use to work up in the arctic on a drilling site as a cook on a 6 months contract ,, being paid large money, I forgot to ask what was or are the names of the companies... did anybody ever hear about a oil drilling company like that? what would be it's name? or my other question would be what would be high paying contracted (6 months) cook jobs in canada. please don't respond with alberta camps. i'm kinda interested in doing isulated hard work for like a year or two, save some money and buy a house.

    For summer work as a cook try the Forest Service , for oil rig camp, check catering companys online that service the industry.
