Cheap Hotels in Downtown Toronto?

  • Are there any "reasonable" rate hotels or B & B's in downtown toronto where there is a shuttle that can take us to and from Pearson Airport? And is the shuttle free or we have to pay? We want to avoid renting a car. Do the airport shuttles can take you to downtown toronto's hotels?

    Hotel Victoria is a great little hotel right in the heart of down town near attractions, restaurants and the TTC/Subway. The Howard Johnston up in Yorkville is decent and resonable priced especially given the area. Close to upscale Yorkville, the museum, restaurants and the Subway. Not sure bout the shuttle service but if you take a cab to the downtown area from the airport try getting a flat rate some cabbies will do this for you. The two hotels I mentioned are steps from subways stations. I've stayed at Hotel Victoria I loved it and have gone back.

you can always take the TTC to and from the airport. they have airport express buses though they require extra fares. however, if you have a lot of bags with you, it may be a hassle so you may be better off renting a taxi or a car.
