Running a webmaster business in Thailand?

  • I run an adult webmaster business from my home but I hear that it's illegal to do this in Thailand and yet I know many people that do it anyway. How do you protect yourself? Do Thai authorities monitor all Internet users?

How to protect yourself? By staying out of Thailand with illegal pornography.

Very simple what you intend to do is illegal on at least three fronts: 1. Adult web sites are illegal. 2. You are running a business and as a farang you need a work permit 3. You will not be paying tax in Thailand from a Thailand run business.. Other people who are doing it are breaking at least one law..simple... All Thai ISP's must by law keep a record of sites visited for a period of 90 days - ps they are clamping down on this these days... To protect yourself...simple dont do anything illegal..!!!!....if caught you will not like dealing with the Thai authorities.. EDIT "In fact Thailand is the only country that has laws against running a legal adult business" Thailand is not the only country.....I can think of at least 10 countries without any research You also say "legal adult business"...Thailand has laws against running adult sites...therefore not a legal business in Thailand
