Why do most singapore girls want to marry foreigners?

My impression is that they want to marry anybody who is rich. Chinese, Japanese, Koreans are their first priority. As you are aware not all foreigners fit that category. In Singapore society girls want car,credit card, condo, cash and country club membership. They all can run into a few million dollars. Even the best looking westerner with light wallet don't stand a chance next to a rich Asian.

Maybe nowadays Singapore girls are more independent and "stronger", they don't want Singapore guys anymore. As in, the Singapore guys will tend to control them because males usually are smarter/more dominating than females. Singapore men marry foreign girls who come from China and Vietnam because the girls study less over there and the men can look more powerful with foreign girls as their wives. I'm not criticising anything or anyone, I may be blunt in how I phrase my words but this is how I feel :)

i don't know where you've been hanging out or what kind of friends you have, but perhaps you've been hanging out at SPG (Sarong Party Girl) joints and have only met Singaporean women who are out only to locate, identify, and then move in on their "prey". I can safely say that you've been majorly meeting the minority of singaporean women whose goal is to marry a foreigner.

Frankly, I'm Singaporean and i think most s'pore girls dislike the foreigners...especially those cocky types. But of course, can we help not loving their great features? We all wanna have beautiful children. My opinion? Many of the men, generally speaking, are mama's boys. Underexposed and pampered.

Some do, but not "most". Many Singaporean women also marry Singaporean men.

Is it because foreigners are rich? I dont think so. Singaporean girls are smart, career-minded and are good in decision-making. Foreign men are liberal in their thoughts and respect/support their career minded asian girlfriends to progress in their careers. Asian men dont get that due largely to culture.

There are some Singapore girls who marry foreign men. Not all. At the end of the day it is all about money and more money. Everything else is secondary. These girls think that these foreign men are rich. Most of these foreign men are just passing time here. Once they are sick and tired of the country, they will go back to their homeland and leave these poor little girls here.

Money! money! money! They don't marry poor foreigners!
