I work in a Retail Drug Store, and i don't sell anything I don't believe in or haven't tried. I don't know what your trying to sell, but is is something your sales staff can get behind, with pride? What would they say if at a party someone asked 'so what do you do?' As far as motivation goes, don't pit one sales person against another; as in 'the best person wins such and such.' That will only pit them against one another and might lead to some underhanded dealing. Instead create a group goal that will benefit the whole team. And most important you and your team must love what you do.
