How does Ruby interpreter work?

How to arrange Chinese-English interpreter work in Guangzhou?

  • I'm a 38-yr-old UK expat and long time resident of Guangzhou. My Chinese is fluent as I read Mandarin Chinese at university and I've also been here for years. As well as fluent Chinese, I've 15 years work experience (insurance and retail) here in China as well as an intimate knowledge of China negotiations and business practices. Seeing as I'm taking a bit of a career break at the mo, I'd like to find some interpreting work at this years Guangzhou Trade Fair. I'm very flexible re work arrangments. Any practical advice would be appreciated. Also, advice re fees if poss. Thanks.

Bring Motai :-) (white wine). Seriously people like to be given gifts. Manners like argueing over the bill or fee's is good too. Make sure you are respectfull at all times. sorry if it isn't enough but i was only 9 years old when we imigrated here to the US
