How should I lift weights to get better at arm wrestling?

  • Im in this competition with my friends on who the best arm wrestler is. I go to the gym alot but I dont know what sort of exercises I should do and what muscles are best to work to have a better chance at arm wrestling. Also, what advice could you give me in terms of arm wrestling, like what position I should be in or something like that. Thanks!

    Do a whole body work out but concentrate more on upper body strengthening. like bicep curls, wrist curls (forearms) which make you get arms like Popeye), Tricep extensions, bench press, shoulder presses or shrugs..... in arm wrestling keep you elbow on the table and be ready to win or get whooped.... if you get whooped learn from it and try again. if you win be humble otherwise you will get whooped anyways. by the way do leg workouts too so your body dont look uneven or weird. like upper body bigger than lower body or something
