When are the Olympic Swimming Finals?

Olympic Swimming Suits???????

  • Yesterday in the 4 X 100m relay, the results were as follows...the Gold (USA), Silver (France) and Bronze (Australia). Everyone of them shattered the previous Olympic record, some by more than 4 seconds (an eternity in Olympic racing)! Is this a result of those weird swimming body suits, or great talent, nutrition and preparation? If it is a result of the body suits, does this provide an unfair advantage? If you know swimming, please help me out. Thanks.

    yes that was teh greatest race ever! but no they r not and unfair advantage some ppl believe that they cause less drag which makes u more airodinamic wich ultimatly means u swim faster but anyone can get these it is really a matter of oppion and preferance. really i think TEAM USA won because of talent and im sure good nutrition and training helped! lol

Yesterday? It was today! It is a combination of diet, a grueling training schedule, years of hard work, natural talent and their suits will play a small part (100ths of seconds) in their time.

it is a xcombination of everything. all the swimmers on the usa team were wearin gthe speedo lazer. it is made 2 reduce drag. all of them have great natrual ability and very good preperation. the suits only give them a little advantage, but anybody ther could were that suit with out the american flag on it.

that record was not very fast it was definitaly going to be smashed the new suits can on help improve a couple hundreths of a second most of it is all on the swimmers even if it was the result of the suit almost all the profesional swimmers have it now most of the countries have decided to use it

It's not the body suits b/c they even said b4 they only cut off tenths of seconds not whole seconds...
