How do you dive sarely from really high up?

How do I get over the fear of the high dive?

• There are two diving places in my local poop one which is 3 meters and the other 7 meters or possibly higher .I can jump or dive from the 3 meter but I can't do it from the 7 I was afraid to jump from the 3 meter dive it took me 1 day to over come my fear .But just thinking about the 7 dive i get scared when i got up I got very scared my friends where jumping but I was just too afraid so I was jumping for the 3 meter dive and watching my friends jump from the 7 meter one I was angry at myself for being afraid to jump.Can someone help me how Can i Jump from the 7 meter one I know I fall in water but I am still too afraid How do i get over my fear and jump I'm going to the pool soon And I really want to jump but I'm just too afraid.

  What you need to do is simple: pretend you are literally diving into a huge pile of pillows. The water is not harmless at all, even if heights make it seem otherwise. I'm not going to dictate what you should and shouldn't do, however, what you must understand is that it's not the end of the world if you hit the water. Sure, if you mess up, you mess up. Nothing's wrong with that, and no one is perfect. If you are truly afraid of what people may give you as an impression, then you should just ignore that and focus upon what's more important-your diving skills. Basically, just DO NOT overthink the situation and just do what you have been practicing. I, myself, am truly not scared of heights, but I understand the problem you're facing. Just realize that it's best for you to do it, and you're going to have to overcome your fears of diving at some point. The best time to start is now.
