Keeping my head warm after swimming?

What swimming cap to buy that does not make my head so hot ?

• I want to start swimming again at our local YMCA. I need to get a swimming cap. ( I am a female ). In the past the swimming caps I bought made my head VERY hot. Like fire hot! I have tried several types. I can't remember what they were now, that was a few years ago. It needs to keep my hair dry, but not make me feel like my head is on fire.

  there is several different types you can get. basically silicone and latex. silicone is thicker and cost more but not as tight. the latex ones are thin and cheap but tight, i guess it would depend on how much hair u have. If your hair is long probably go with the silicone its so much easier to get on and doesn't pull hair as much
