How can I know if my billabong board shorts is an imitation?

Do you wear Speedos underneath board shorts?

  • Im a male 19 year old going on holiday and like the desings of board shorts ie the Quicksilver/Billabong ones etc. There is no netting inside the board shorts so not so keen on everything hanging out. Do people tend to wear speedo style briefs underneath board shorts?

    When swimming by myself or with friends, I actually like wearing only speedos, yet when I'm around my somewhat close-minded family, I wear board shorts so they won't be freaked out or offended. But yes, I do wear a speedo underneath. Speedos are actually much better than the flimsy, and pretty much useless netting you'll find on traditional bathing suits. They're fast drying, supportive, and very comfortable. I say you should at least give it a try.

The first answer was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. As you wrote, speedo briefs under the boardies if no mesh lining. Wearing boxers under boardies, the cotton plugs pool filters, you can get kicked out of most swimming pools.

ugh...I wear my boxers and my boxer briefs under my swimmin trunks! I never go "free-ballin"...Get it hah... hope this helpss

im on a swim team and the guys just wear their jammers under. it suposedly is more comfortable, but i dont know im a girl. =) this is what they look like http://www.metroswimshop.com/images/3pk_Male_Jammers_37.jpg if you were to ask my opinion, id rather i guy wear these, i dont know why but its MUCH more attractive. ;) under the shorts of course.

well im a high school swimmer, and i deff do wear a speedo or even a jammer under my boardshorts that dont have netting. because its not comfortable. beleive me your not the only guy that wears a speedo or something else underneat. if you need any thing else on swimming feel free to hit me up and ask me!!!

I would wear something under your shorts since they don't have a liner. Your privates might hang out and show.
