What is the difference between RCGA and USGA slope ratings?

I played a course in the states with a 130 slope and one in Canada with 130 and the course in the states was much harder. I was just wondering on how much the difference is.

You would have to get the parameters of the RCGA and the USGA, do a comparison and find the differences if any.Much of the slope is based on length and if the course in the States was the same length but with more hills, valleys and elevated greens it may have carried the same slope buy was a harder tract.
