How to learn bike stunts?

Would a Diamondback Racing bike be good for doing stunts?

  • The bike is a racing bike as it is labelled so, would it be good for stunts like going down half pipes n stuff like that, also what are some good cheap bike models for stunts? 100 quid max. thanks :)

    Racing bikes were never designed or built for doing "stunts". They were designed & built to race. You mean BMX bikes? A good racing bike or road bike will set you back about $3,000.

The label of BMX has been bastardized over the years. It used to mean Bicycle MotoCross which implies racing, but some wizard thought to put stunting in the same category. I guess the term freestyle wasn't good enough. Anyway, no, a BMX racing bike should never be used for stunting, and you won't get a good cheap BMX bike for 100 quid unless you buy it used, perhaps at a boot sale... and it probably won't be too good.
