Where to find toddler off road riding boots for dirt bike riding?

I have a three year old boy that is just getting started with riding a dirt bike. I want to find him a good pair of boots. Anyone know where to find boots his size. Along with riding gear as well.

Alright.....First of all, You could of just said "You have posted in the wrong forum" But, NO! You have to insult her by calling her a "Child Abuser". I have never seen so much disrespect in my life you all should be ashamed of yourselves! She asking about the right safety gear to buy and i hooked her up with a list of everything she needs for safe and fun riding on a "Dirt Bike" if you train them early they will always wear their safety gear.... My son is 10yrs. old and my daughter is 8 yrs. old and they are both involved in motocross racing and the both started riding when the turned 3yrs. old and now they are at the top of their divisions with sponsors(yes they get paychecks that go into a college fund). At least they are not going to grow up not playing football, baseball or basketball taking steroids and raping cheerleaders or on a computer hacking banks and sending viruses to everyone..... You people are probably the ones that are trying to ban Santa Clause from saying "Ho, Ho, Ho" because you find it offensive.... Grow up!

Start him off with pedals. He can learn his handling skills on a BMX or MTB. He'll be safer, stronger, and better conditioned later on if he then chooses to go motocross. There's no legitimate reason for a kid that age to be involved with anything motorized. IMHO, that borders on child abuse. == Edit: I have lots of fun, and have yet to grow up. I'm 54 and still racing - without motors. Imagine that - on a cycling forum. http://www.flickr.com/photos/silverbullet1952/746878235/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/silverbullet1952/347828567/

Wow - you are getting dogged! Don't listen to them, you are doing the responsible thing getting him good gear. My favorite online dealers, great prices and both great to work with (I've ordered dozens of times over the last 10 years): www.mxsouth.com www.bobscycle.com Have fun, and kudos for being safe in a fun family sport!

Since this is a bicycling forum - why not take the fight outside? Argue in the motorcycle forum instead.

i dont know where you'd find that sort of thing if possible. that sounds a bit dangerous to me.

I agree with the others if you're talking about a motorcycle. Not a bright thing to do. His bones are not fully developed yet. And BTW, this page is for bicycles. Try cars and transportation / motorcycles. Try Toys R Us...

Because your parents were willing to put your life at risk doesn't make this right. You are simply carrying on with the stupidity. 3 yrs old is way to young for off road dirt biking...are you kidding me?!? I've worked in daycare and kids at that age can't even ride a two wheel bicycle let alone understand speed and power. They do not have the mental or physical capabilities of making instant or co-ordinated decisions. You are being a fool. Just because you survived unscathed, no thanks to your parents, don't assume you will be so lucky with your sons life. This is just ridiculous.

I hate to answer with an IDK but I don't know! I do support you in you're method of upbringing, I truely believe that if kids are exposed to as much as possible during their early years, it makes them a more rounded and responsible adult. I had my son shooting a .22 calibre air rifle in my back garden at the age of 6 (highly supervised- of course) I had him cutting vegetables for cooking, with a knife so sharp, it would cut steel cable. As a kid I used to ride around in the back of a car with no seat belt (ooohh shock horror!) I drank water from a hose pipe and played with catapults, knives, small air guns. I played out after dark and I didn't have a mobile phone (they weren't invented then). If the local Copper or a Teacher gave me a slap My parents didn't sue or complain, they gave me a slap as well. Stop being so soft on your kids, in the long run it's not good to shield them from lifes hazards, let them live a little and take off some of the cotton wool. Grrr, must put my soap box away. Sorry I can't help but I hope you find what you are looking for. .

I'm not sure where you can get dirt riding gear for a toddler. But while you're out looking for them, let me know if you come across any flak jackets or handguns for my newborn.

And to think I'm this late getting in on the fun. I bet if she did post in the correct section she would be happy with her answers.
