How painful is donating blood plasma?

  • I plan on donating blood plasma and was wondering if there is anyone who has done so before and can tell me how painful the process is.

every time I'm going to go to the hospital for surgery I give them blood to hold for me in case I need it. That way I don't have to take someone Else's blood into my body. It's no big deal.

as painfull as getting a small needle put in your arm to take the blood out. you will be fine, millions of people do it every day.

Donating blood involves a small sting; they can use it whole, or put it in a centrifuge to make plasma (without the blood cells). Phone the Red Cross and ask.
