Who do you think is harder to understand, a man or a woman?

Do you think this woman should have charges laid against her ? Should she be forced to resign as CEO of SPCA ?

  • I saw an article on Yahoo about the CEO of the Virginia Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals who had left her dog in the back seat of her car and it died. The dog was 16 years old, blind and deaf and died as a result of being left in a car on a very hot day.Even when the dog was given medical care it was not enough to save this dogs life. Apparently the woman's husband said he had put the dog in the back seat of his wife's car in the morning since the dog often went to work with the lady. The long and the short of this sad story is that the dog was left in the car and as a result ultimately ended up dying. No charges were laid against either the husband or the wife. I think it sets a very bad precedent for future cases of animal neglect or abuse. It gives the appearance that this man and woman are above the law .I am not so sure she should keep her position as CEO of the SPCA since she failed to use common sense when caring for her own dog. I can't understand why the husband didn't communicate to his wife the dog was in the car.If it was common for her to take the dog to work you would think she'd routinely check the back seat before getting into the car. I don't understand how she could continue to act as CEO in good conscience.Do you think that this husband and wife were not held accountable for their actions? Your input.

  • Answer:

Accidents happen. Some parents leave their kids in the car and they end up dying. Unless it can be proven she was just negligent, she shouldn't be charged with anything. Accidents do happen. Edit. Did you read all his question. He said the womans husband put the dog back there. She didn't know the dog was in the car. Do you check your car EVERY time you get out, especially if you know you didn't put anything in the back seat? Edit. What kind of dog was it? Did he say it was a 100 pound Rottweiler or a 10 pound Chihuahua. Theres a big difference in the size of them and if a person is busy, it is very possible to leave a dog in a car. As I have mentioned, people sometimes leave their kids in the car. It's possible. How is this negligence? She didn't put the dog back there. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32188864/ Should this cab driver be charged with kidnapping because he was negligent. So, the cab driver not noticing a sleeping girl in his car isn't evidence enough for you that it's possible to have something in your backseat and not realize it? @gussie I apologize for calling you a peta hippie. I got the wrong idea from your question. My view is that this is a terrible accident and in no way should affect her position. She wasn't being cruel to the animal, she just didn't know it was in the back seat. With the dog being in the condition it was in it would be easy for anyone to leave it in a car. I don't think anyone can say she should be punished in any way for this. She wasn't placing bets with Michael Vick, she unknowingly left a sick dog in her car.

Yes, I for one believe she should be charged with animal neglect/cruelty. This wasn't simply an "accident" in my opinion, anyone with a brain should know better, especially someone with experience and training in the proper care of animals. Edit...yes as a matter of fact Possum, I would notice a dog in the back seat of my car! Unless she is the one who is deaf and blind, that is a lame *** excuse! I don't want to argue the issue Possum. I've given my opinion and I feel the woman was negligent. I find it very hard to believe she did not notice the dog in the car. I believe this was nothing more than an "excuse" for her negligence and her attempt at trying to save face.
