Why is it legal to sell fireworks but illegal to shoot them off?

  • For example, Indiana and Wisconsin are allowed to sell fireworks, but the fireworks they are allowed to sell are illegal to shoot off. What the heck is that????

    I don't get those laws either. I guess they expect the fireworks to be like hermit crabs. You can buy them but don't expect to be entertained. Doesn't make much sense to me.

ok thats all for saftey resons because fireworks are dangerous i learned my lesson when I was 5 and my dad was shooting them off and it fell on its side and hit me on my knee. Now I have a big scar there. Another time when i was 12 my brothers best friend and his mom came ove and my dad once again shot them off and a monster firework hit the moms brand new car. Now i have 1 more stork when i was16 my boyfriend and a few of his friends had a party and shot off fieworks and the police took them in jail for a night. Some states allow it because they think its ok. if you do shoot off fireworks be extremly extremly carful, dont shoot them off neer trees houses people and make shure if you shoot them off that t is on solid flat ground not uneven ground! Good luck and be safe!!!!!!!!:)
