Gym membership contract need legal advice?
-
i signed a gym membership contract for 11 months but i am 17 and the guy told me i could sign for my dad because we have the same name... he was present at the signing but did not know iwas signing a contract on behalf of him. he thought i was filling out paperwork is the contract voided in the state of az. because they are now charging a 300 dollar cancellation fee

Answer:
So the guy told you to sign as your dad (in a sense, forging his signature). I'd just complain directly to the highest manager/owner, or their corporate, because you were not an adult, and couldn't agree to any contract. And they could be in serious legal trouble if their employee encouraged you to forge a signature.
