What are the best way to go to the Bollywood?

Does Bollywood insidiously emulate/imitate Kollywood keeping slight difference 'h' in "Singham" and "Singam"?

  • Bollywood "Singham" is the remake of Kollywoord "Singam". Hindi and Tamil movies have a long history right from silent movies era. They tend to stand on their own legs. Even if they remake movies there will be slight alterations to suit the taste of locals. But Sigham trailer is ditto Singam. Tamil movie stunts have dubious distinction of something funny and impracticable like villain and his men being air borne or diving into cars breaking windscreen etc: Now Hindi audience has started liking these thamashas. Once actors in Tamil Cinema becoming politicians was a mockery. But ultimately actors across the country ventured into politics and acted very well in politics. Similarly South Indian movies were a lot of fun for their Northern counterparts. I myself have experienced it in my 30 years association with assorted fellow Indians. But now Madras curry has made inroads into Mumbai cuisine. Only aspect left is building a temple for an actress. The way things go Soon there will be a temple erected for an actress.

Imitation is the best form of flattery. But then in such things as films and other business matters, the original story writer or inventor etc. should be adequately compensated,Such compensation being determined by prior consultations and also the amount grossed by the original in the first few weeks. For those who are watching both Indian and Hollywood or french films, they can easily find that Indian film makers are most of time involved in downright plagiarism, be it is in music, dancing,or storyline. They just make a simple twist to Indianise the scene.

I don't understand what your question is, but Reliance has made both films so you can hardly accuse them of insidious behaviors; for once a remake is copied not only with permission but by the company that owns the rights to the original film.
