Do you think long distance relationships work?

  • I'm in a long distance relationship and it's starting to get to me because I can't stand not being able to see him all the time! Do u think I should move on or stay with my man??

    It depends on what you're trying to get from the relationship. If you want to get married eventually and they're just away for a while, then stick with it till they come back. It's also a good thing for a married couple to have that trust that they can be away for a while and the other one doing just fine while they're away. If on the other hand you plan on sleeping with them every once in a while when they visit you, then tell them you'll be around for them, but you're also going to see other people, then just keep in touch with them. Finally, you'd be surprised how often this is, but many couples go into long distance relationships without really any goal other than staying together. Comming from the outside, I find it a little rude for them to do that to each other. They're not really progressing, they don't really have a goal with each other, and they're just trying to hold each other back from finding what they want. In which case my suggestion would be to break it off and find someone you'll be happy with for whatever you want.

Follow your heart and be happy. I've been in two long distance relationships, both ending differently. First one went into the Navy enough said, he cheated. Second one, I'm married to for now 5 years. You have to judge for yourself. Don't make regrets it will eat you up in the end.....

If the distance is within walking distance to each other, you're to close, if a 20 minute drive, just right, if more than 3 hours apart, no way, been there done that - didn't work 3 different times.

It's very rare that long distance relationship work, HECK in hard to keep a relationship working when the couple lives in the same state,town or house. But it all depends on how strong u two feel about each other, if u & he want it to work it will Theres an old saying absents makes the heart grow funnier. I hope it works out for u =-)
