• Hi, I'm 14 years old and my boyfriend is 14 too. The thing is, I'm from Mexico and he's from the U.S. I came here just for a year, to study as an exchange student and I'm going home on Thursday. Ever since I saw him I liked him. He's the only guy that makes me feel happy, and he's funny and smart and he digs The Beatles and so do I and he's my favourite person in both the countries I've lived in. He was pretty much the only guy I ever considered dating, but he's too shy, he even told me he considered himself a geek, and that's why he never told me he liked me back. Until last week, I sent him a letter on the mail because although I was supposed to give him that letter on the last day of school, I accidentally gave him the bloody wrong letter, how stupid I know. Then he told me he got the letter, and he told me really really liked me too, and he told me he wanted to date me, even if it was a long distance thing. I'd still be able to come on the Christmas break AND the whole summer. I'm worried about a few things though, how do I tell my parents? do you think it's possible it'll work? why or why not? Other than that, I'm sorry for my bad English and all, it's just that my native language is Spanish. Hope you're having a nice day! c:

  Aw that's so sweet. If I were you I wouldn't tell my parents because sometimes they dont understand where you're coming from. It is possible the long distance relationship will work. Most people who have long distance relationships don't work because of communication. If you send each other letters and keep in touch you will have a nice relationship. Don't let other people tell you that it wont work because you are the only one who will know if it works or not.
