How do you get rid of skunks in your yard?

How do I keep skunks from returning?

  • I had a skunk or skunks move into my crawlspace last week and I've been trying to get rid of them. From what I've read once I do get them out I have to block their way in or the will just return. The problem is I can't find where the get in. There are no holes in the foundation and I have search my yard about 30 feet out from the house but there is no sign of a burrow anywhere. So without knowing how they get there how can I keep them out in the future?

There are vents and an access way to your crall space, That's more then likely how they got in. Skunks and most other wild animals hate hard-rock music, so blast them and seal up the opening. Don't use smoke bombs or they will stink up your place before leaving. They may be in there hunting for mice, so take care of that problem if you have one.

They did not materialize in there . A skunk can get through a very small hole . You just haven't found it yet . You may need to look for fresh digging .
