How do we get rid of a family of skunks that lives on my yard?

Try to have dogs or... tigers perhaps.

Shoot them.

First, never surprise them now. When she goes to the door, she should stamp her feet loudly so they know she's coming. Can she trap them again, and take them at least 100 miles away or something to a national park, which is located on the other side of the Mississippi River? If it doesn't work after that, call the Discovery Channel and get them to send a few scientists to investigate why those skunks are so darn loyal to your friend.

If there is animal control in your area try calling them. Don't know if they would help but worth a try. I used to have a family skunks lived next door to me. I would throw out my leftovers for stray cats,the skunks would eat . I have even dumped it on their heads by accident{lol}

You can trap them, as I have heard that they won't spray in a small confined area. I wouldn't bet that they will smell good though, so I would transport them in an open pickup to another location. Skunks like grubs so it is likely that your yard has them. You might want to try killing the grubs with a lawn treatment and maybe they will go elsewhere if there is nothing to eat. Good luck! I got stuck in a crawl space with one, one time, so I am no fan of skunks!
