How do I access the parent panel?

Broken water pipe about a foot in from access panel in kitchen in bathtub frame?

  Is the pipe 1/2" copper? If so, don't bother sweating the joint. Purchase a "shark bite" fitting. The really good news about these fittings, is that copper, PEX, or CPVC all have the same OD dimension, so one fitting works for all of these types of pipe. The fittings come in couplings, tees or elbows. Good luck!
