Redoing bathroom floor tile with cheap vinyl tile?
-
im confused. my husband says our bathroom is approx 12 x 24. 4 years ago we put CHEAP bathroom tile in, but he wasnt around so i did it myself. i used if i can remember right, is around 60-70 tiles. he told me to calculate the 12x 24 which makes 216 and said thats how many tiles we need.but i know it was around 70 tiles. i can only afford cheap tile and i found some at menards for 54 cents a tile. can someone help me figure out the price? i know its cheap tile but i am poor and have to pay my heat bill next paycheck, and buy cheap tile, and buy a new car in 2 weeks so i can spend very little money

Answer:
12x24 is a very large bathroom. Measure it again and remember that you do not have to cover the area under the tub. My guess is that the measurement is off, but if it is really 12x24 he is right.

12 x 24 is huge....are you sure? How many tiles you need depends on the size of the tile.
