Will my toenail grow back?

I am wondering when my toenail will grow back.?

• I had an ingrown toenail. I had the toenail removed on Christmas eve. I clean my nails a lot, and take care of my feet. I trim my nails often, and I cut them to short the last time. I do not have gross crusty toenails. I asked this question earlier, and some guy commented accusing me of having nasty feet, and not taking care of them. My toenail is still not showing any signs of growing back. There is also a big bump where the nail should be growing in. it makes me worried that it will block the nail from growing. The bump is hard like a rock, and looks kind of like cartilage of some kind. it is kind of clear. this has been there since the first week after I got it removed. Is my nail ever going to grow back, and how? with this bump in the way it does not seem possible.

  That really depends sometimes it will grow back but not the way it used to be.
