Is it possible to get mono twice?

Is it possible to get mono from air contact?

  • P.s I'm only 13 so god forbid I've been doing anything that would get me mono, but I went to the nurse today to get a bandage, and there was a kid with mono in their. Also what are the symptoms of it?

    No. It must be some sort of physical contact [and it doesn't have to be kissing.] My friend has mono and I have to be so careful as to what she touches of mine. I'm not being a germaphobe, but mono is contagious and once you have it, it doesn't ever go away. [I might add that it's only contagious when it's flared up.] Mono flares up regularly in a person [not sure how often] but when it does you can catch it then. You can get mono from things as simple as water fountains! However, you can NOT catch mono if you're careful. Don't chew on your nails [Eh, it's a bad habit of mine], keep your hands clean, wash your jacket regularly, ect.

Ya I had it once and Im only 13 to so. You won't be able to get it from air. They call it the kissing disease because you can only get it if you make mouth contact. Symptoms are you always have a very high fever for like a month
