Could this pain be heart related?

Arm pain...heart related?

• hi- when i woke up this morning i had severe pain going from my fingers in my left arm all the way up to my biceps. the pain seem to hurt the most in my elbows and wrist. it is still present and it is about 7 hours later i am overweight and i am concerned that this could be heart related. i do not have any chest pain. the pain seems to be running right through the middle of my arm. please, any help would be appreciated.

  I can't diagnose you over the internet, and since it sounds like you are very concerned you should go to the doctor!! That said, cardiac pain often will radiate from the shoulder down the the left arm, but I've never heard it coming up from the fingers.... you have tendons that go through your arm and you might have hurt one - maybe carpal tunnel syndrome or tennis elbow...??
