How to stop AIM from popping up?

Non Stop Allergies, Chronic stuffiness, Chronic ear popping for the past 5 years please help, will not go away?

• For the past 5 years, I've had what seems like allergies along with Ear popping. I have been to two Ears Nose and throat doctors. The 2nd one says that my chronic ear popping is due to allergies. I've tried many nasal sprays including neil med sinus rinse, but none of those work, and Mucinex and other antihistamines, but nothing has stopped my ears from popping, and I still have chronic stuffiness from 4 years ago. The 2nd ENT doctor said I would need allergy testing, but that is too expensive, and I don't have insurance. What can I take to completely get rid of my ear popping and chronic stuffiness and allergies for all these years. 5 or 6 years ago I was perfectly normal. As a baby, I had upper respiratory problems, than it went away. I'm 26 years old now. I'm a smoker, and started smoking when I was 18 or 19, should have never done it, but was around smoke all the time from my parents. I just don't want to be on 8 different nasal sprays, and antihisitamine pills, and Mucinex for the rest of my life, and allergy testing is too expensive. My doctors thought I once had an ear infection which caused my ear popping, but those medicines didn't work. I have had sinusitis and sinus infections mixed in over the course these 4 years. I'm going to quit smoking, but in the mean time, should I get a cat scan, x-rays, anything besides allergy testing. Plus, if I test positive for allergies, it will cost money to take one shot a week for 2 years. Any info on how to cure my chronic problem will be helpful. Just trying to get some ideas. I've lost some hearing because of this, and I even used to have a lot of ear wax build up, and I thought that was causing my ears to pop, used to have to go to the docs to get them flushed out, but I don't hardly have ear wax build up problems anymore, and ears are still popping along with the chronic stuffiness. Breathing is fine, just stuffiness and ears popping for the past 4 or 5 years with some sinus infections that come and go.

  You really, really need to quit smoking. It's making everything else worse. Chronic sinusitis can cause ear popping, as can allergies. You can't afford allergy testing, how are you going to afford a cat scan or sinus surgery? Your absolutely cheapest treatment is to stop smoking right now.
