  • If I switch from diet pop to water, how much weight will I lose and how fast?

  • Answer:

Well, not ingesting the toxins from diet soda will help you lose weight b/c fat is used as a toxin dump in the body. Basically, the less chemical crap it has to worry about keeping away from your vital organs, the faster it will let you lose the fat.

The amount of weight lost varies with each individual. However you are smart to substitute water for diet pop as aspartame has many negative effects on the body, one of them being that it disrupts the metabolism and contrary to popular belief will not help one lose weight.Congrats on losing 35-40 lb and staying away from high fats, sugars and salt found in fast foods..Its important that you take in a bit of good fat and adequate protein. You can find these in fish, lean meats, beans, tofu, milk products, nuts and seeds. They will stay with you longer making you feel less hungry,as well as furnishing you with nutrients to help rebuild muscles.Don't forget 6-9 servings a day of fruits and veggies.

It all depends on your current weight and metabolism. You will probably drop several pounds fairly quickly though because diet soda has sodium in it which causes you to retain water. So, although the diet soda does not have the calories in it, it can cause you to maintain weight due to the retention of water. The weight that will come off quickly will be water weight and probably won't stay off unless you change your eating habits, too. Hope this helped!

Since diet soda has no calories, it probably won't make much difference.

Water is much more healthy overrall, but i dont know how much weight you would lose. The calories are the same, but carbonation has an effect on the body too. so i dont really know..

cheese is bad.... all dairy is bad.. it's an inflammatory food.. so much for the good diet. cutting out soda is probably the smartest thing you've done so far.. keep the pop out of your blood stream.. it will help save your arteries.. your stomach, your intestines, colon and your heart. and you may lose 10 to 40lbs IF you stay off the soda... it depends on how much you've been consuming.. more fresh fruits and veggies.. more water.. more fresh juices. cut out the cheese? cut out the other dairy you are probably consuming you may lose another 30lbs or more. stop eating and drinking inflammatory products you may be able also to keep that tonage off.

like my "cow lick"?

No difference, no change in weight.

It depends... what kind of food do you usually have with diet pop? I know when I am drinking diet pop I start to crave chips.. so I'll eat more chips. But if you usually just eat healthy foods, then switching to water won't make you lose any pounds. But water is healthier than pop anyway in other reasons, water doesn't have any caffeine and is not loaded with aspartame.
