How long should I exercise for fat loss?

Im not fat, but I want to "tone" and "trim". In fact, I cant lose anymore weight. Im not allowed to. My question: is it more affective to exercise in the morning for fat loss? AND how long do I have to exercise to achieve fat loss? Like 15-20 mintues or more? I hear 20 mintues is "fat burning zone". AND when should I exercise if I cant in the morning, like before a meal or at night on an empty stomach? Or does it even matter one little bit? When school will start I have no time for morniing exercise and I have no P.E. So I will do it at home. Im 15 turning 16, and 123 pounds and 5"6-7 ty!
