How can i lose 3 pounds in a week?

I'm 130 pounds and I wanted to weigh 115, how can i lose those pounds into atleast 3 pounds per week. They said that eating five smaller amount of meals will help, but how small is small and what specific food should i take. what specific foods are not to be taken during the course of diet. thank you

I started as 135 and I'm also trying to reach my goal weight which is 120. I lost my 3 lbs in 1.5 weeks. Here's what I did. First, WATER is very important. you must drink at least 8 glasses a day. It also helps suppress your appetite. Drink a glass when you wake up in the morning and before you go to asleep. Drink also a glass before every meal. And if you exercise, drink before, in the middle, and after your exercise routine. This helps you lose water weight. Water weight is all the water accumulated in different parts of our body because the body makes sure that it has a reserved "stock". So if you constantly drink a lot of water, the body will release the water weight (which is maybe 2-5 lbs)because it will think that the supply will always come.Ok? :) Oh, and if you drink ICE COLD WATER extra calories are burned because the body can not utilize the water in its cold state. So it has to bring it to normal body temperature first. You could also try green tea. 2 to 3 cups a day burn 80 calories. This has been proven. :) Add also lemon. :) Eating smaller meals does help. Eat every after 3 hours. This is the time when the last meal you ate is fully digested. You must not go hungry because this will slower your metabolism. Here are some food suggestions: eat foods with fiber: whole wheat bread, oatmeals or non-sugar cereals with skim milk. protein: tuna in water, skinless chicken breast, eggs(not too much), low fat cheese calcium: skimmed milk *It is also proven that calcium helps boost your metabolism. Fruits but no bananas and Vegies but no potatoes. you can have as many as you like. You can also have frozen yogurt. low/non fat. Stay away from carbs like white bread/flour. I'm not saying you shouldn't eat them but a daily requirement is 50 grams. The atkins diet tells you to take 25 g. This is dangerous and can lead to ketosis. Stay away from sugars or starches. No sodas please. If you wish to drink fruit juices then buy fruits and use a blender. Those powdered juices have too many sugars in them. :) Oh and if you wish to exercise but have no budget for gym or are too lazy to do it like I am :) hehehe. try the following while listening to your mp3 or while sight-seeing. walking--250 calories burned an hour running--500 cal jogging--900 cal Keep in touch about your progress! ;) [email protected]
