How To Lose Weight In A Healthy Way?

How do I lose weight in a really healthy way?

  • I'm sixteen and reasonably healthy. On the chart at the doctor's office, I'm in the not obeese, but not good whieght category. I do sports at my school (volleyball and basketball)but I recently had knee surgery on my ACL and am..... well, lacking in both speed and agility.m I am on a diet but the weight just won't come off. How do I do it in a healthy way?

  • Answer:

First of all you are only sixteen for crying out loud. You are still growing let your body do what it has to do. First you need to recover from surgery. You didn't run first before you walked so give it time. Eventually, you will get what you want. Patience is a virture. Beauty is within you!

Try to eat healthy food.a diet with very little suger and fat will really help you.don't eat dinner and replace a glass of milk and 2 dates for dinner.eat little bread, rice and spaggeti.use date or honny instead of suger.I,ve experienced all these and believe in them as being so useful.try to walk as much as you can.

Well, it seems like your doing everything you should be doing. Exercising, and eating healthy right? How long have you been doing this? Weight doesnt come off quickly. Why dont you try a Cereal Diet? There's one from Raisin Bran that my mom used, and it works. Try drinking Slim Fast shakes, jogging, and eating more fruit, 8 Glasses of water a day. That should help.

Aerobic exercise combined with portion control and 'some' weight training will keep you fit and healthy for a long long time. Volleyball and Basketball can be an absolute killer on your knees (i played D3 hoops and on a VB club team in college). I now stick to running, which believe it or not is better on my knees. Until your ACL is back in shape, I'd walk on a treadmill and build up on the incline. There's much less pressure on your knees on the treadmill and walking (vs. road running). Diet alone won't do it. if you add in some moderate weight training your muscles will burn fat for up to 2 hours after your workout is over -- it's very efficient (and no you won't get huge).
