What are the uses of sodium?

My 6 yr old uses Prevident Rinse by Colgate 0.2% sodium fluoride in the USA, it's a prescription...is it the

  • same thing as Oral B Fluorinse sold in Canada? she currently uses prevident toothpaste which i can get cheaper in Canada. i was wondering was this another thing we can add to our Canada Pharmacy list. don't worry, i will call our orthodontist after i get some feedback...i'm just wondering...

you can ask your pharmacist if the florides are the same and in the same strength . i imagine its to help prevent decay while she is in appliances.
